實際上這是個省略句，完整的句子應該是 I am expecting your arrival soon!

expecting 是 expect 的現在分詞形式，是「期望」的意思。要注意的是 expecting 還有「懷孕的」的意思。請對照以下例句：

She is expecting another baby.（她又懷孕了。）
