作者簡介

Aman Chiu趙嘉文

　　Aman Chiu，語文教學類及兒童圖書作者，持有香港大學教育學院碩士學位以及美國史丹福大學專業出版課程證書，具多年教育圖書開發經驗。曾任香港朗文出版社出版經理，公開大學及理工大學社區學院客席講師，以及北京《新概念英語》策劃編輯。其著作涵蓋教科書、詞典、故事、語法材料等範疇，當中包括Oxford’s New Magic Listening and Speaking系列與Longman Illustrated Children’s English-Chinese Dictionary等暢銷讀物。Aman現為《明報》專欄作家，十分重視寓教於樂 ── 讓讀者在學習中感受樂趣！

繪者簡介

Johnson Chiang

　　Johnson Chiang，香港人，卡通造型 John Dog 原創者、香港插圖師協會會長（2014-2016）。

　　Johnson 自學生時代已熱愛繪畫，經過五年素描和四年油畫學習，很希望畢業後就會當畫家，對繪畫的熱情使 Johnson 在整個中學時期，無間斷的學習素描、油畫、水彩、水粉和 油粉彩。

　　現在，作為自由創作人的Johnson，工作類型主要為廣告創作、廣告拍攝、插畫製作、商標 設計、書刊設計、吉祥物設計、造型設定等等。與此同時也不斷地創作劇本、漫畫製作等等 。

英文能力UP！
中文的「一隻」和「一條」，變成英文後統統用a / an，例如：a seal（一隻海豹）、an otter（一隻水獺）、an octopus（一隻八爪魚）、a dolphin（一條海豚）、a ray（一條魔鬼魚）。
 
Let’s learn
Indefinite articles are a and an. They mean ‘one’, referring to a single object or person.
不定冠詞有兩個：a 和 an。如果名詞的數量只有一個，我們就會把它放在名詞前面。
