【電影入座】
皮克斯年度超級大作【Soul靈魂急轉彎】，由曾經執導過【怪獸電力公司】、【天外奇蹟】、【腦筋急轉彎】的金獎大導彼特達克特再度回歸執導。彼特達克特擁有2座奧斯卡獎、5座Annie大獎、1座金球獎，可說是當代知名鬼才級導演。此次執導的【Soul靈魂急轉彎】，導演找來金獎巨星影帝Jamie Foxx、黑人音樂巨擘Questlove、美國知名女演員Tina Fey等人參與配音；故事主要敘述一位對音樂失去熱情的音樂家，遇上措手不及的靈魂出竅事件，這位音樂家迷失到了一個叫作「投胎先修班」的地方，在這裡靈魂會塑造出自己的個性、癖好以及興趣，接著才進入人世間。而為了找到返回自己身體的方法，音樂家得幫助一位叫作「22」的孤魂。音樂家能否順利找回身體、重返人間？「22」到底是誰、又為什麼成為孤魂？走過靈魂界的這些人，能否對於自己有更身的認識呢？

【音樂開始】
【靈魂急轉彎】的電影原聲帶有別於以彼特達克特的習慣，此次並沒有找來傳奇配樂大師 Michael Giacchino或是Randy Newman，而是請來榮獲奧斯卡獎、金球獎與葛萊美獎的樂壇鬼才人物Trent Reznor，以及好夥伴Atticus Ross，同時找來美國爵士與節奏藍調中生代天王、獲得葛萊美提名肯定的Jon Batiste等三人，共同為原聲帶打造完美音樂。三人不同的音樂風格和編曲步調，為這一部皮克斯有史以來主題最特殊的作品，打造了漂移在靈魂之中的真實聲響，透過Trent Reznor對於各種合成器材聲響的掌握，Atticus Ross對於不同樂器之間特性的完美調合，碰撞出讓人驚豔的音樂火花，搭配上Jon Batiste精心調配出來的多首爵士配樂，共同為【靈魂急轉彎】中的冒險之旅，映襯上最適合、最恰當的樂曲，使得電影與歌曲彼此之間得到了昇華，預計將會讓皮克斯再登上另一個里程碑。
