Taiwan is no stranger to embracing musicians from around the world. Typically, singers from the US, Korea, and Japan have all found their share of fans in Taiwan. But today, even a singer from Norway is enjoying success here. His name is Peder Elias.
Peder signed with Sony Music in 2018, and soon after, his early singles became radio favorites in his home country. They were feel-good songs that blended pop music with emotional depth. By 2021, his music started to gain attention in Korea, and in late 2022, he held his first concert there. Following this, it didn’t take long for his fan base to grow in Asia—including Taiwan, where he has performed four times.

Social media attention has further helped his career, and his songs have now gained millions of streams on major platforms.
