Send Him an Angel

At seven, James Smith realizes his life is different than other boys his age. He lives in a rat-infested shack in a poverty-stricken slum with his mentally-deranged mother, crystal smith, who thrives on cruelty and hatred. He is subjected to verbal and physical attacks so often he believes this is the normal way of life. James Haddad is a native of Miami, Florida and is a former journalist for the St. Croix Avis Newspaper. He has done extensive research in child abuse and neglect and worked as a volunteer for the Department of Children and Families. He is the author of the acclaimed novel, ＂Eyes of a Child.＂
