CHENXING HAN’s writings on Asian American religion have appeared in Buddhadharma, Lion’s Roar, Journal of Global Buddhism, Pacific World, and elsewhere. She holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA in Buddhist Studies from the Graduate Theological Union. After studying chaplaincy at the Institute of Buddhist Studies in Berkeley, she worked in spiritual care at a community hospital in Oakland, California. She and her husband, a scholar of Southeast Asian Buddhism, divide their time between Bangkok and the Bay Area.
