Marianne Willburn is a garden columnist, speaker, and photographer with over two decades of experience gardening in places as diverse as Southern California, England, and the Mid-Atlantic. Marianne is the chief garden columnist for several Mid-Atlantic-based newspapers. Her syndicated column with the Ogden family of newspapers reaches a base of up to 40 different newspapers. She is a regular contributor to The National Garden Bureau, American Meadows, High Country Gardens, Home & Garden Homestead, and writes for national magazines such as The American Gardener and Greenprints, as well as several regional magazines.

Marianne is also a European garden tour leader for Carex Tours, which specializes in small-group luxury garden tours. She is a dual citizen (American/British) and holds a Bachelor of Science from University College, University of London. She is a Master Gardener and a member of both Garden Communicators International and The National Society of Newspaper Columnists.
