Damien Rogers is a Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Massey University’s Albany Campus in Auckland, New Zealand. He holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the Australian National University and a PhD in Law from the University of Waikato. He also holds masters’ degrees from the University of Canterbury and Victoria University of Wellington. Rogers’ research focuses on the ways in which members of the international community respond to various forms of political violence. Before joining Massey University, Rogers spent nearly a decade working within New Zealand’s intelligence community, including at the Government Communications Security Bureau, Ministry of Defence, New Zealand Defence Force, and the Border Security Group of Immigration New Zealand.
