Dr. Efland Amerson is a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist and a Fellowship trained Neuropsychologist who currently works at Kaiser Permanente, Honolulu. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hawaii Pacific University in 1999, and graduate education at Argosy University, Honolulu in 2004, where he received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Amerson also completed additional post-graduated training at the University of Virginia’s Medical School in Neuropsychology in 2013. He started to write children’s books as hobby; understanding that play and fantasy is the language of children. Dr. Amerson feels that fantasy and play have long been the medicine for children no matter the cause of injury. If we can only view the world through the eyes of children, peace will ultimately be the outcome.
