絕版經典作．復刻再登場！莉莉的奇妙散步旅程【日本插畫大師喜多村惠作品】Lily takes a Walk

 
　　Lily喜歡和狗兒Nicky一起散步，她們常外出好幾個小時，走到太陽都下山了，但Lily有Nicky一路相伴，她從不覺得害怕。她腳步輕快，偶爾停下看著天上的星光、或跟河裡的鴨子打招呼，邊走邊跟Nicky分享見聞。但是，為什麼 Nicky看起來並不開心，反而常常驚慌的盯著路上的東西看？
 
　　日本插畫大師喜多村惠（Satoshi Kitamura）以充滿趣味的幽默感，敘述Lily和Nicky相反的故事視角。當觀看的角度產生變化，同一趟旅程，竟呈現截然不同的情緒和風景。圖像和文字製造出的反差，自然而然創造笑點，更邀請孩子一起進入每個場景，運用想像力和觀察力，延伸更多的故事情節。
 
　　此書屬於原本於1987年出版的Spooky Surprise系列，藉著Nicky看到的樹葉怪物、張著大嘴的垃圾桶等畫面，喜多村惠同理並再現孩子心中時而出現、無以名狀的恐懼。每一頁插圖都充滿創意細節，讓小讀者迫不及待尋找畫面中隱藏的驚喜，這趟散步旅程刺激精采讓人難忘！

　　When Lily takes a walk with her dog, Nicky, she notices many lovely things. But poor Nicky only sees monsters lurking at every turn. Nicky sees a scary face made by the branches of a tree, then he is spooked by a post box that looks like a monster... the walk is an exhausting experience for him! The reader will also spot the scary apparitions but will recognise that they are not what they seem, and they also have the last laugh on Lily, who does not notice them at all.

喜多村惠（Satoshi Kitamura）

　　喜多村惠出生於東京，19歲前往英國倫敦，獲得與英國出版社Andersen Press合作的機會後，就此定居倫敦發展，且首部作品《生氣的亞瑟》（Angry Arthur）即獲得為新進童書作家而設的「鵝媽媽獎」（Mother Goose Award）。在英國發展多年後，喜多村惠於2008年返回日本東京定居。
 
　　喜多村惠的代表作品包括《生氣的亞瑟》（Angry Arthur）、《米莉的新帽子》（Millie’s Marvellous Hat）等，2021年以《微笑商店》（The Smile Shop）獲英國凱特格林威大獎提名。
