TOEFL iBT聽力部分的訣竅
 
題目類型
 
聽力部分有七種題型。（41-57分鐘）題目範例如下：
 
1. 詢問主旨題型：What is the talk mainly about?
談話內容主要是關於什麼？
 
2. 詢問細節題型：What is true about dolphins?
關於海豚哪項是正確的？
 
3. 詢問架構題型：How does the man describe the Pyramids in Egypt?
男子如何形容埃及的金字塔？
 
4. 詢問關係題型：What is compared between healthy food and fast food?
健康食物和速食之間的比較包括哪一項？
 
5. 推斷題型：What can be inferred from the lecture?
從講課內容可推斷出什麼？
 
6. 詢問態度題型：What is the student’s attitude about the fact?
學生對此事實的態度是什麼？
 
7. 詢問功能題型：Listen again to part of the lecture. Then answer the question.
再聽一次部分講課內容，然後回答問題。
 
Why does the teacher say this: 為什麼老師說到這個：
 
答題技巧：
•    盡量多會一些單字。
•    熟悉母語人士的不同口音和語氣。
•    運用你擁有的背景知識。
•    養成做筆記的習慣，運用符號或縮寫。
•    增進聽寫 (dictation) 和跟讀 (shadowing) 技巧。
 
理解文章的關鍵：
1. 認真看內容。
2. 注意「主旨」、「要點」和「重要細節」。
3. 想一想講者想說什麼。
4. 分辨講者的語氣。（道歉、抱怨、提出建議等）
 
找出答案的關鍵：
1. 聽示意單字：first（第一）、second（第二）、third（第三），例如：also（也）、so（所以），等等。
2. 瞭解每篇中各概念之間的關係。
