Heilpädagogik一詞，原文作者在解釋時把它大概英譯為"curative education"。
然而，原文作者在書寫中，是採用德文原文來敘述為主，行文中很少採用英譯。
原文作者對Heilpädagogik的說明，可參考以下文字:
// Lazar was bold. He aimed to found a new field of child development: Heilpädagogik, or curative education. Lazar said curative education would integrate numerous disciplines, creating “a novelty, whose establishment would represent a long striven-for goal of [combining] pedagogy, psychology, and scientific medicine in equal measure.” This approach would consider all aspects of a child’s health, psyche, and family circumstances, offering sweeping assessments. 無論如何，我的建議是在閱讀時不要被「教育治療」或「矯治教育」這個中譯綁住，只要知道它是Heilpädagogik就好，而且得知道Heilpädagogik就有多義性。
