Punting through the Looking-Glass

I’m in Oxford, England, the city of dreaming spires. This is a city, yes, but a very manageable and walkable one. If you’re driving here, you do not want to drive in and find parking in the city center. You want to take advantage of their park-and-ride system. Park outside the city, and take public transportation in. The transportation is frequent, and there’s no hassle.

And because we are in merry old England, you do want to remember that they do drive on the opposite side of the road as us. So when you’re walking and you want to cross the street, look both ways before you cross, because if you just dart out, you will be hit by a car or a bus.
