As a teenager, Lanny K. Cook developed a lasting interest for Israel that began with his parents’ participation in various Bible studies. His parents would continue their discussions at home, making prophetic topics an everyday conversation with the family. Those conversations created an extreme curiosity that stayed with Cook for nearly 50 years.

After spending 28 years in the public schools, Cook retired to pursue a second career as a pastor. He earned a master’s degree in education from Colorado State University and a master of arts in school administration from the University of Phoenix. In 2006, Goodwill Industries of Denver recognized him as their ＂Educator of the Year.＂ He obtained a doctorate of ministry and a Ph.D. in biblical studies from Newburgh Theological Seminary.
