Part1. 給寄宿家庭的一封信
親愛的布朗先生：
我叫吉米，來自臺灣。我是個性格開朗，活潑，熱情的女生，我行為習慣良好。平時，喜歡聽音樂，看電影，閱讀及運動。能成為你們家的一份子，我感到很榮幸。因為我的英文不是很好，可能剛來您家裏，溝通會有點不順暢，還請您多多指教，能不厭其煩地引導我。同時，希望我的到來，能給您的家庭增加更多的歡樂。

此次留學，我沒有選擇住學校宿舍，而是選擇了寄宿家庭的主要原因是想探索不同的文化，增添一些特殊的體驗，這將成為我留學生涯中最珍貴的回憶。

再次感謝您給予我這個機會，能融入您的家庭。同時，也希望我的到來，能讓您和您的家人能瞭解到不一樣的臺灣文化。

My name is Jimmy, coming from TAIWAN. I am an optimistic, lively and easygoing girl and I promise I have a good behavior. When I am free, I would like to listen to music, watch movie, read books and do exercises, etc. I am very proud and excited to be a member of your family. However, because of my poor oral English, my arrival would bring your family much inconvenience at the beginning. And I’ll be much appreciated if you treat me with a bit more patience when our communication is not that smooth. At the same time, I wish my arrival will bring much more happiness to your family.

This time, the main reason why I choose the host family instead of the dormitory is that I’d like to explore exotic culture and increase some extraordinary experiences, which would be the most precious memory of my study-abroad life.

Thanks again for giving me the rare chance to live together with your family. At the same time, I wish my arrival would give you and your family a different experience of culture of Taiwan.
