Chasing Rainbows

Feeling as though she's stuck in a life that has her in a constant revolving door, Linda decides she has to find a better life for herself and her children. She leaves everything and everyone she knows behind to move her family across the country deciding that where she runs out of money is where they will make their new home. Settling in Covington, Kentucky, Linda finds that the dreams she thought were lost to her forever are suddenly revived. She overcomes all the obstacles to achieve those goals. You'll find yourself cheering for her as she overcomes the obstacles that stand in her way. When the people who hold positions of influence shatter her faith in them, you'll cheer her courage to defend herself and her children. When her own pastor tells her she needs to forget her dreams and sell cemetery lots for his sister, you'll cheer her courage to tell him no. She's determined to succeed against all odds, and allows nothing nor no one to derail her a second time.

At seventy-three years old Linda knows that to wake up every morning is a true blessing. Her response when asked how she’s feeling is to tell the listener ＂The Lord got me up this morning. It’s a good day.＂ After surviving a cerebral hemorrhage and stroke, Linda is convinced that she is correct in that observation. Linda’s resume reads like a globe trotter’s world atlas with employers in three states and Germany. She is now retired. Married to her second husband for thirty-two years, they now live in Jacksonville, Florida. She fills her time in her sewing room making quilts for all her friends, family, and for sale. When not in her sewing room, Linda can be found with her laptop writing the next chapter of her story for her children and grandchildren.
