People with dementia often have difficulty with short-term memory, but many of their long-term memories are intact. As your loved one is reminded of the activities of childhood, they may be inspired to talk about their own childhood or the joy they experienced raising their own children.

The childhood memories included in this book are simple ones that will be familiar to all seniors, such as building a snowman, cutting out paper snowflakes, making snow angels, and experiencing the joy of Christmas. Each ＂memory＂ is a short, uplifting story of a few sentences in large-print text illustrated by a full-page, full-color photo.
