＂Moms Never Get A Break＂ is a children’s book about all the different rolls a single mom plays. A moms daily routine includes moments as the maid, the cook, the teacher, the nurse, the playmate, the caretaker, the disciplinarian-- not to mention she works full time!

This book shows how moms never get a break from the responsibilities of taking care of her children, her household, and her job. Vibrant, colorful illustrations whisk us through a warm story about a single mother taking care of her children throughout the day. With the goal of helping children understand just how hard moms work, this fun book might just help them get mom a break.

Tameka M. Smart is a business professional with a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership and the founder of Smart Inspiration LLC. Tameka was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in New York. She currently resides in Wesley Chapel, Florida with her 6-year-old son Marley. As a single-mom, she truly knows what it means to never get a break, and that is what inspired her to write her first children’s book, Moms Never Get A Break. Tameka considers her faith and family to be most important to her. She believes that learning is the basis for growth, and growing is the key to living. Through her book, she hopes that children will learn just how hard mom works juggling the many different roles every day. When she is not writing, she spends most of her time reading or going on special adventures with her son.
