Anna Sellheim was lucky enough to grow up in Washington, DC before gentrification robbed it of its personality. She planned on having a career in politics but then thought better of it. Instead, she got her MFA in comics from the Center For Cartoon Studies in 2016. From there she bounced all up and down the east coast before settling in Baltimore, where she lives in an apartment with her two terrible dogs that she’s obsessed with. She has been published in The Nib, multiple Dirty Diamonds anthologies, and Comics For Choice (a non fiction comic anthology about abortion that raised over $30,000 for the National Network Abortion Fund). At the beginning of writing this book she was an administrative assistant, but during its completion she became a comics and art teacher. This is her first publication made up entirely of her own work.
