He also uncovers the surprising reason why Shakespeare veered away from his early work’s gender-bending homoeroticism.

Will Tosh is head of research at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, where he serves as spokesperson for Shakespeare studies in print and on broadcast media. Tosh was educated at the University of Oxford and Queen Mary University of London. He is the author of two previous books and lives in London.
