It may be something we’ve heard and know well [word for word]; it may be an instrumental melody of some sort [that we improvise with our own lyrics]; or it may be altogether a spontaneous naturally created melody with lyrics of our own. Whatever and however the inspiring or empowering tune emerges, it holds our attention as being the right song at the right time. That is the basis of this book, A Song in the Timing I Needed.

A Song in the Timing I Needed seeks to link the personalized imagined melodies we find ourselves humming audibly or in our thoughts (as we go about our days whether in chaos or at peace) with corresponding affirmative lyrics that shine the light on God’s goodness. Since we are regarded as new creations in Christ (according to 2 Corinthians 5:17), the beauty of singing new songs is understanding the innate joy of God at work in and through our lives. Experiencing such joy translates to appreciative expressions through psalms and hymns as spoken in Ephesians 5:19, ＂...speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord...＂ As your tunes are accompanied by the lyrics within this book your soul will surely be revived, the eyes of your heart opened, and life perspectives will yield to God being seen as the priority.
