這種用法一般在對話中，較口語。多用於提出異議、說令人不快的事、拒絕對方請求等場合，以緩和語言，使語氣婉轉，表示遺憾的，抱歉的，恐怕的。

2. I bet+子句
相當於I’m certain+子句，肯定的語氣比較強烈，表示我肯定，我確信
