Children may be different in how they look, what they like to do, and even what they like to eat, but they all have great smiles.

Rookie Readers (Ages 5-7) have provided entertaining, high-quality introductions to reading for more than a generation. Each title features full-color, often hilarious illustrations and engaging stories that always involve a young child figuring out concepts or solving problems on their own.

Bob McMahon can never remember a time when he didn’t draw, even when his teachers wanted him to stop. He received his degree in art from Cal State Northridge and has worked as a political cartoonist, advertising artist and children’s book illustrator.
