Roddy Doyle is the author of seven previous novels, including a Booker Prize finalist, ＂The Van, ＂ and a Booker Prize-winning international bestseller, ＂Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha.＂ He has also written several screenplays and books for children. He lives in Dublin, Ireland.
