Cynthia Yoder authored the first modern memoir written by a Mennonite woman, titled, ＂Crazy Quilt: Pieces of a Mennonite Life.＂ The memoir is both a love story and a journey exploring her family roots. She also authored the book, ＂Divine Purpose: Find the Passion Within,＂ a self-help book to guide readers toward greater flow and purpose. Her writings have appeared in New Jersey Monthly, Mothering magazine and the short story collection, Just Moms. She has worked as a freelance writer as well as a mentor to individuals pursuing their business and writing dreams. Cynthia earned a Master of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and also studied literature at Columbia University and earned her B.A. from Goshen College.
