I am always grateful toward God for the three gifts He has given me: my life, to be a Catholic priest, and the Foot Reflxolgy.
1978, the year I studied Reflexology theory from a German book and found that I could easily help mine and also other people’s health.
For more than twenty years, I am the pastor of 7 villages in Changbin Taitung. And one part of my work is tp help people to improve their and our own health through our Reflexology Method.
Some years ago I realized that I am getting older and if I want to pass this wonderful method on to the next generation and to the world I need a well educated team of teachers and professional reflexologists. In Europe we already have such a team of teachers and professional reflexologists, who follow our method clearly, but not yet here in the Far East. Together with Dr. Eugen Cheng we have introduced our new Reflexology method in several books and during more than 30 years shared our experiences with each other. But for answering the needs of unlimited requests, we encounter, we need a big team of professionals to continue to promote this most powerful natural health method.
Therefore I started in Changbin together with Sophie Lin and Johannes Hu and other reflexologists to train a group of Vietnamese, Aboriginese and Taiwanese in a very extensive training course for 8 month until they were able to learn and understand our method as well as possible and we started to offer services every day at our church in Changbin. Since then many people come for treatment and for learning, every day and through them we improved our knowledge and experiences.
While working and sharing our experiences and working on our blind spots we realized that our former reflexzone maps have some unclear parts and lack some new discovered reflexzones we want to add into our new map and new book.
Therefore this new book is a brake through in our reflexology experiences and it will be translated into German and English and possibly into other languages with the purpose to tell the world, where we are now after 40 years of studies, and we want to offer our new book to all the reflexologists and students who want to learn more and to improve their knowledge and service. This is not the final answer to every question concerning reflexology because this method is alive and not dead and therefore we must be open for new discoveries and new understandings.
This book is a result of our studies with the European reflexologist and our group in Changbin.
