2011年是李斯特誕生兩百週年紀念，對俄國鋼琴家貝瑞佐夫斯基而言，這一年也可以說是他的年，因為，他是當代最知名的李斯特演奏家，尤其是他彈奏全場的李斯特超技練習曲，更是全球獨步，名氣之響亮無人能及。貝瑞佐夫斯基今年四十二歲，在莫斯科音樂院時是女性鋼琴名家薇莎拉茲（Eliso Virsaladze）的學生，他十九歲就在英國魏格摩廳首演，當時泰晤士報就已經大讚他的超技長才。兩年後他以二十一歲拿下莫斯科柴可夫斯基鋼琴大賽金牌，更讓他傲視全球。

貝瑞佐夫斯基近年來離開華納後，依然有非常活躍的錄音和演出行程。這套錄音，是他從獲得柴可夫斯基鋼琴大賽以後，為華納所灌錄的。從中我們可以看出他挑選的曲目，不但是既艱難，風格也很多樣，更重要的是，他總是挑很少人知道或演奏過的曲目，這也是他刻意要在樂壇上走出個人風格的一個嘗試，他的技巧這麼高超，其實什麼曲目都可以演奏，再加上柴可夫斯基大賽光環，其實如果他是一個只是為了金錢考量的鋼琴家，大可以灌錄一些熱門的曲目，一樣可以賣座叫好，但他對自己的藝術進展有相當嚴格的要求，因此，不斷在突破挑戰自己，也在挑戰樂壇的傳統曲目。這套錄音中，像是郭德夫斯基改編蕭邦的練習曲，這套曲目當今樂壇大概沒有幾位鋼琴家肯花心思去學會，也沒有那麼技巧去彈奏，但貝瑞佐夫斯基卻成功征服了這份超難曲，而且這份錄音還是採取現場演奏錄音的方式，更顯出他驚人的技巧，這張專輯在2006年發行後，接連贏得法國金音叉（Diapason d’Or）和英國BBC音樂雜誌大獎。而他在華納最後完成的亨德密特「音的遊戲」組曲（Ludus Tonalis），也獲得德國ECHO年度最佳獨奏現代曲目大獎，這套曲目也是蘇聯鋼琴大師李希特在晚年最極力推薦的曲目，他一直希望有後進學會這套曲目推廣給大家，終於有貝瑞佐夫斯基這樣的大師級鋼琴家學會並灌錄成正式的錄音。■2012.06■
