V. Reily Collins has had a distinguished career in tourism. She developed tourism training courses which were bought by the United Nations for training around the world, was appointed consultant to Britain’s Foreign Office for training in emerging nations, was elected to Councils of London Tourist Board, regional Tourist Board, Association for Conferences and Events, and founded the British Incoming Tour Operators’ Association (now Ukinbound). She is also the author of several books, including Careers in Travel and Tourism, Working in Tourism, and Becoming a Tour Guide.
