傑夫‧凡德米爾 Jeff  VanderMeer

　　身兼作家、編輯、出版人以及教師等多重身份，同時也是「新怪譚」(New Weird)流派的代表作家。他以華麗且實驗性的筆法為長，在文壇獲獎無數。

　　他以《遺落南境Ⅰ：滅絕》獲得星雲獎。過去曾獲三次世界奇幻獎（World Fantasy Awards）、軌跡獎（Locus Award）、雷斯靈獎（Rhysling Award）、英倫奇幻獎（British Fantasy Award）、英倫科幻協會獎（BSFA Award），也曾入圍雨果獎，作品更被收入美國圖書館科幻故事集與數本年度最佳科幻小說選集。
