Michael J. Katz was born in Chicago and migrated west in 1984. Between 1987 and 1991 he published the acclaimed Andy Sussman/Murray Glick mystery trilogy that brought comparisons to Donald Westlake and Gregory McDonald. Those novels are now available as E-books.
