Masao Yamada is the CEO of Yamada Masao Urban Design Network. He is a professional engineer and architect, and an independent designer who is responsible for venue designs, including the 1985 Science Expo in Japan. His other roles include: Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Media and Governance of Keio University, a member of the main committee on Information Systems Technology at the Japan Architectural Institute, and Professor-in-Residence at the Japan National Institute of Natural Sciences.
