T. Jackson King (Tom) is an Amazon bestselling science fiction author whose popular series include the Vigilante, Assassin, Escape, Aliens, Brother, and Retread Shop series. Opening novels for each of these series are STAR VIGILANTE, STELLAR ASSASSIN, ESCAPE FROM ALIENS, EARTH VS. ALIENS, LITTLE BROTHER’S WORLD and FIRST CONTACT. He is a lifelong reader of SciFi stories and his favorite authors have included Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and Andre Norton. Tom began writing SF novels at age 38, when he discovered he had read all the Human-Alien first contact or encounter novels in his local library. Those early years produced FIRST CONTACT and RETREAD SHOP. When the New York City pubbers ignored his later novels because they had no Hollywood tie-in, he went to several small presses, then began self-publishing as an Indy author in 2011. Several of his novels have hit Amazon super-bestseller status in Space Opera. They are STELLAR ASSASSIN, EARTH VS. ALIENS, ESCAPE FROM ALIENS and most recently BATTLESTAR, the first novel in his StarFight series. He loves that readers in Britain, Canada and Australia are some of his most loyal readers! Before becoming a bestselling author, Tom worked as a federal archaeologist and newspaper journalist. However, college years spent in Paris and in Tokyo led Tom into antiwar activism, hanging out with some Japanese hippies and learning how often governments lie to citizens.
