Petar Mamula, MD, is a board certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Director of the Kohl’s GI Nutrition and Diagnostic Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is also Co-Director of the Center for Digestive, Liver and Pancreatic Medicine, a CHOP/Penn collaborative program.
Andrew B. Grossman, MD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is the co-director of CHOP’s Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Robert N. Baldassano, MD, is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Director of the Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Baldassano’s research focuses on children who have inflammatory bowel diseases, and he oversees a large team of researchers at CHOP working to translate discoveries in the laboratory into direct patient care for children. One promising area of current research involves investigating the intestinal microbiomes of children with inflammatory bowel diseases.
Judith R Kelsen, MD, is Program Director of the Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease (VEO-IBD) Clinic and an Attending Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Jonathan Markowitz, M.D, served on faculty at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for approximately 5 years before he joined Greenville Children’s Hospital in 2006, where he has served as division chief of pediatric gastroenterology for the last 6 years. He is a clinical professor of pediatrics at USC School of Medicine-Greenville.
Dr. Markowitz’ research interests include eosinophilic esophagitis and inflammatory bowel disease. He has authored numerous articles and has lectured nationally and internationally. He is co-editor of Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Dr. Markowitz has been featured in local and national media.
