內容簡介

時尚是一時的趨勢,唯有創造出風格才是王道
本書收錄近80位現代不同風格的品牌,從街頭穿搭到高級時尚,一一拆解時尚密碼

What’s your style? If this question makes you nervous, or if you’ve started to feel lost in a sea of new labels, designers, online newsletters and e-commerce, For the Love of Style will help you make sense of it all. Authors Corinna Williams and Nina Zywietz have de-cluttered the fashion world’s closet to give us an inside look at the best-known and most exciting trends, from romantic, bohemian, and all-American looks to fashion’s avant-garde. They’ve hand-picked the labels known for creating style icons and fashion staples as well as the next-gen designers shaking things up. Join us on a journey through the world of style: relax on the beach in a Tory Burch tunic, then change into a Public School outfit and hit the club in New York. Featuring elaborate texts and inspiring pictures, this book will become your personal stylist. Street style pros as well as international stylists and designers share their tips to help you build the perfect outfit. For the Love of Style reveals fashion must-haves and timeless styling tips that would earn Coco Chanel’s seal of approval. After all she is the one who said: “Fashion fades, but style endures.”

作者介紹

作者簡介

After studying international relations and diplomacy in Heidelberg and Paris and working at Google in Dublin, American Apparel and broadcaster Pro7, CORINNA WILLIAMS started at Elle, where she spent nearly five years as a staff writer, covering trends in music, art, fashion, beauty, living, and travel. In late 2012, Cover was looking for a US correspondent, and the German-American moved to New York to write for the women’s magazine. Shortly after, she began reporting for the German edition of Harper’s Bazaar. Today, the author still resides in New York, working as US editor-at-large for the magazine.

NINA ZYWIETZ studied psychology and sociology in Wuppertal and Los Angeles, and after several stints with various agencies, landed in London, where she worked for a large communications agency in the fashion industry. From there, her path took her to Hubert Burda Media and to Closed, where she was head of global marketing with primary responsibility for visual branding. Today, Nina works as a freelance creative director for many fashion companies, on-line portals, and agencies, and travels around the world to do her projects. She lives and works in Berlin.
