Bryan R. Fischer is a published author with over 30 years of industrial experience, having held positions as a Design Engineer, Project Engineer, GD&T Subject-Matter Expert, Tolerance Analyst, Design Lead, Design Checker, Design Drafter, and CAD Systems Programmer, Trainer and Consultant in Product Definition Data and Processes, 3D Model-Based Business Processes, Drawing Quality, Dimensional Management, GD&T and Tolerance Analyst. He has worked, trained, and consulted in many industries, commercial and government, from very small companies to large multinational corporations. He consults with software developers to help them improve their implementations of 3D PMI, model-based product definition, model-based applications and 3D-GD&T(TM). He is a member of ASME, ASQ, and SAE. He is a leading internationally-recognized expert on 3D PMI, GD&T and tolerance analysis. He was the founding President of the NW Chapter of the American Design Drafting Association from 1992-1993. Mr. Fischer has earned an Associate of Science Degree from Ohlone College in Fremont, California in Drafting Technology - Design; Associate Degree in Arts and Science from Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Washington; and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT). Mr. Fischer is an Adjunct Professor at OIT.
Roy D. Whittenburg is a project manager with extensive technical experience in both the design and CAD/PLM administration areas. Over the past decade he has led numerous Army and OSD ManTech programs. The majority of these programs have been related to building the DoD’s Model Based Enterprise capabilities. In fact, his work with both the Army and NIST in the areas of MILSTD-31000A a (Technical Data Packages) and the Model Verification Guide Book won the OSD ManTech Project of the Year in 2013. He has over 25 years of experience in multiple industries ranging from heavy vehicles to telecommunications in positions such as designer, CAD Support Administrator, Principle Trainer, MCAD Architect and Project Manager. Mr. Whittenburg has an associate degree from Weatherford Junior College in both Pre-Engineering and Business Information Systems, and he attended the University of Texas at Arlington. He also has numerous certificates in both IT and CAD/PLM.
