Jiehua (Jay) Shen, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at Iowa State University, where he serves as the Director of Graduate Study. Dr. Shen has over 30 years of experience in fields of design, teaching and research in steel structures. He has published extensively in steel structures. He was the 2017 recipient of the Joseph C. and Elizabeth Anderlik Faculty Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
