Guy Ben Simon is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Head of Orbital, at the Ophthalmic Plastic & Lacrimal Surgery Institute, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Chair of the oculoplastic fellowship program at the Goldschleger Eye Institute, President of the Israeli Oculoplastic Society and International member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Professor Ben Simon has written over 90 peer-reviewed original papers, reviews, invited chapter in books in Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery and been an invited speaker at many International Meetings. Professor Ben Simon has received National and International awards for excellence in Basic and clinical science research, participated in several voluntary missions to various destinations (South Africa, Micronesia, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Congo, Madagascar, Maldives, rural regions in India) and the pacific to perform Ocular and Oculoplastic Surgeries. Professor Ben Simon is Chairman of the 1st international oculoplastic meeting in Israel (Oculoplastic Today) with prestigious faculty of over 20 invited speakers from around the globe. His main fields of interest include Lacrimal surgery - endoscopic DCR / LJT under local anesthesia, Thyroid Eye Disease and Orbital decompression and trauma with emphasis on Traumatic Optic Neuropathy.
Gahl Greenberg is head of Neuroimaging at the Diagnostic Imaging Department, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel. Dr Greenberg is Primary Consultant for the Maxillo-Facial, ENT and Ophthalmology units, chief advisor for tumor boards in Head and neck Oncology, Instructor in Continuing Medical Education courses at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, member of the Israeli Radiological Association and European Society of Radiology and co-author of many publications in the field. His main fields of research are head and neck imaging including particular interest in Craniofacial Oncology, Orbit and paranasal sinuses, Temporomandibular Joint & Odontogenic disorders, Temporal bone, Skull base pathology.Daphna Prat, is a ophthalmic surgeon at the Orbital Ophthalmic Plastic & Lacrimal Surgery Institute, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel. Dr Part has received awards for excellence in research, leadership and clinical skills, authored peer-reviewed original papers and participated in voluntary missions to Africa to perform Ocular and Oculoplastic Surgeries.
