Dr. Hilton Becker is an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida and serves as a voluntary faculty member at the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Florida. Dr. Becker received his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg, South Africa, where he completed his internship and residency in general surgery and plastic surgery. He was elected as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, Scotland before completing a second residency in plastic surgery at the Medical College of Virginia, USA. He has been engaged in plastic surgery practice since 1981 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A member of numerous regional and national medical societies (American Society of Plastic Reconstructive Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons-Edinburgh, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and honorary member of the Association of Plastic Reconstructive Surgeons of Southern Africa), Dr. Becker also has extensive experience in surgical lecturing and teaching, and has published over 60 articles and chapters in surgical textbooks. He is a reviewer for the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and the European Journal of Plastic Surgery. He has developed several medical devices and holds several medical patents.

Dr. Raghavan Vidya is a Senior Lecturer at Birmingham University and Consultant Oncoplastic Breast & Reconstructive Surgeon at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. She qualified in medicine at the University of Madras, India, in 1990, prior to continuing research on aromatase inhibitors at Edinburgh and completing higher surgical training in Wessex and the West Midlands. In 2004 she was awarded the Nuffield Chase Breast & Oncoplastic Surgery Fellowship, and visited Emory University, Atlanta, USA. In 2007 a scholarship from the Association of Breast Surgeons allowed her to complete a visiting residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York. She founded the Innovations and Advances in Breast Surgery conference and organized the first International Prepectoral Breast Conference. Having introduced and mentored key innovations including muscle-sparing implant-based breast reconstruction, she is a national member of the ABS Breast Academic Group. She is actively involved in clinical trials and has a special interest in new technologies and their applications in breast surgery. She has published over 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
