Asphyxia in Neonates

In severe asphyxia, lipid peroxidation occurs. Neonatal lipid concentration may indicate the severity of asphyxia and be a reason for needing cooling therapy. Asphyxia in Neonates describes the results of research into the impact oxygen deficits in neonates. The physiological consequences of asphyxiated newborn infants include changes in the pH of plasma and changes in lipid concentrations. These changes can result in apoptosis, loss of cell membrane integrity, and damage to the brain.

Research associate since 2020 at the Faculty of Medical, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Author and co-author of 106 scientific papers presented at national, international conferences and journals. Dugalic is a gynecology and obstetrics specialist, MD, PhD, master manager in medical/health care system and he works at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, University Clinical Centre of Serbia Work experience. Since April 2017 he has been in permanent work status at Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, University Clinical Centre of Serbia, where he has first worked as doctor of medicine, and later as gynecology and obstetrics specialist from May 2021. During the year 2019 he participated in project of Ministry of education, science and technology development ＂Clinical epidemiological researches of health disorders of public health significance from the population of Serbia＂, project number 175025.

He finished Third Belgrade Grammar School, average grade 5,00 (of possible 5). He finished School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, started in school year 2010/2011, and finished on time on May 30th 2016., average grade 10,00 (of possible 10). He passed his expert’s exam for doctor of medicine (MD) on December 22nd 2016. He finished specialist academic studies on study program Medical sciences, module Human reproduction, in School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, started in school year 2016/2017, and finished on time on September 27th 2017., average grade 10,00 (of possible 10. He passed his specialist’s exam in the field of gynecology and obstetrics on April 26th 2021., done his internship in the field of gynecology and obstetrics in School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, University Clinical Centre of Serbia, started in 2017., and finished on time. Sandra Babic, MD

Sandra Babic was born in Belgrade in 1984, where she graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade. At the same faculty in 2015/2016, she enrolled and completed Specialist Academic Studies (SAS) in the field of Human Reproduction. He continues his education and training at the Doctoral Studies, Module: Human Reproduction, Perinatology and Neonatology also at the Faculty of Medicine. Since 2013, at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics UKCS, he started as a volunteer, and soon as a clinical doctor.

In the 2015/2016 school year, she was enrolled in the first year of specialist studies at the Faculty of Medicine, and on January 29, 2020. she passed the specialist exam in gynecology and obstetrics, with an excellent grade, and thus obtained the professional title - specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, under the mentorship of prof. Dr. Aleksandra Stefanovic.

As part of her continuing education, she attended the Basic and Advanced Colposcopy Course in 2016, as well as the Ultrasound School Level I and II in 2022. Association for Fetal and Neonatal Medicine. She has published several works in foreign and domestic professional journals.

At the Department of Fertility Control, he performs general professional tasks of diagnostics and therapeutic procedures.
