The globally inspired, women-run, and home-based cooking school League of Kitchens shares recipes from and profiles of 14 women from across the world, gathered together into one visually stunning cookbook.

In 2014 Lisa Kyung Gross founded the League of Kitchens, an immigrant-led, home-based cooking school comprised of women from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. More than a dozen women--mostly grandmothers, with well-earned wisdom--come together to teach classes from their own homes, passing down their knowledge, skills, recipes, and most importantly, their secrets for how to cook with love. At its heart, the League of Kitchens is a celebration of the contributions of immigrants on our food and society, and, of course, delicious food.
